The Orizzonte is a giant cruise ship. Five thousand people on board, including passengers and crew. On the first night, twenty-eight African migrants are rescued from the sea. For those people fleeing poverty, the Orizzonte is salvation. For the passengers, the encounter with the migrants is a dose of reality they would have gladly avoided. The discovery by the migrants that the ship is headed to North Africa, from where they are fleeing, pushes them to hijack the ship, turning the cruise into ground zero of the world-wide crisis where all the conflicts caused by migration will come to an unavoidable collision.
