Sarah Kameela Impey
British Pakistani. Lead singer, rhythm guitar. She works at a butcher’s as her day job. The band is her life, her raison d’etre. She is hellbent on finding a lead guitarist.
British Pakistani, a studious, work-oriented woman who sometimes slips into her own fantasy world. She is a microbiology PhD student who is desperate to get married and settle down.
Or so she thinks…When the band try and recruit her as their lead guitarist, her childhood passion
for playing guitar is reawakened.
British Nigerian. Bassist/backing vocalist. She is Zen, chilled, an earth mother. She is the
peace broker in the band, the glue that holds them together. She is a cartoonist by trade and her
pulpy violent cartoons contrast with her peaceful vibes.
British Iraqi. Drummer. Ayesha is an uber driver by day. Prone to bursts of uncontrollable
rage. Ayesha is constantly fighting with Saira – she doesn’t think they need a lead guitarist. Despite
Ayesha’s tough exterior she’s soft at heart – a secret hopeless romantic.
A hustler, a wheeler-dealer and the band manager. Momtaz’s life goal is to get Lady Parts on the map and start her own record label. She is confident and outgoing, never afraid to speak her mind, which some people find surprising given she wears a niqaab.
