Tom Stone is a one-hour dramatic series set in contemporary urban Alberta. The title character, Tom Stone is an ex-cop and ex-con who is sprung from prison and recruited by Sergeant Marina De Luzio of the RCMP's Corporate Crime Division to work as an undercover operative.

Relying on his knowledge and experience on both sides of the law, Tom Stone finds himself embroiled in intriguing cases ranging from corporate espionage to narcotics. For Tom, this opportunity is a welcome chance to get back on his feet and rebuild his life after taking the fall in an investment scam - and for Sgt. Di Luzio, Tom represents a last ditch attempt at finding an operative who can get some results, saving the Special Investigations Unit from being shut down.

In Season Two, Tom Stone and RCMP Corporal Marina Di Luzio are in an ever-deepening conflict over the deal they've struck.
