Shawn Doyle is a favourite and familiar face to audiences, turning out critically acclaimed performances on both the big and small screen.

Currently seen as the tormented brother Joey on the hit HBO drama Big Love, Doyle has also appeared in various guest starring and recurring roles on hit series such as Lie To Me, Desperate Housewives, 24, Lost, Numbers, Medium and C.S.I.

Most recently, Doyle co-produced and starred in the independent film Grown Up Movie Star. The film premiered to critical praise and sold-out houses at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition.

Originally from Newfoundland, Doyle starred in the hit Canadian series The Eleventh Hour for which he received the ACTRA Award for Outstanding Male Performance in a Series. He has also garnered numerous Gemini nominations for his work on the gritty series The City, the miniseries Verdict In Blood, the acclaimed TV movie Eight Days To Live and the aforementioned The Eleventh Hour.

Doyle also boasts an impressive list of film credits including Frequency, Sabah, The Majestic, Don't Say A Word, Cletis Tout, Long Kiss Goodnight, Knockaround Guys and the recent Warner Bros. film Whiteout.

Famed for his role as acerbic, yet lovable, Coach Ken Tenaka on the phenomenal Fox hit series Glee, Patrick Gallagher was awarded the prestigious Screen Actor's Guild (SAG) Award in 2010 for his outstanding work on the celebrated show.

Gallagher previously appeared in the recurring role of the Vampire Bartender Mr. Chow in the highly acclaimed HBO series True Blood. Recently Gallagher joined the cast of the hit TNT series Men Of A Certain Age in the role of Jesse. Additional television credits include guest starring roles on such popular series as Entourage, Hawaii 5-0, Cold Case, Pair of Kings, and Without a Trace

Born in New Westminster, BC to an Irish father and Chinese mother , Gallagher was raised and schooled in the Vancouver suburb of Chilliwack, BC. After graduating from the National Theatre School of Canada, where he honed his skills alongside fellow student Sandra Oh, Gallagher moved to Toronto, where he appeared in many TV shows and plays. These included the world premiere of Nightingale as well as Whale, which he toured to the Kennedy Centre in Washington, D.C. Among the TV series were Kung Fu, Earth:Final Conflict and Due South. After a stint as a tour guide at Radio City Music Hall in New York, Gallagher returned to Vancouver, Canada where he worked in many television series. These included Robocop, Earth:Final Conflict, Dark Angel,Godivas, Stargate SG-1, Smallville and Battlestar Galactica. He also starred as Det. Joe Finn in the successful CBC series Da Vinci's Inquest.

Gallagher's big break came when he landed a role in the blockbuster feature Master and Commander starring opposite Russell Crowe and directed by Peter Weir. After starring with his good friend Sandra Oh in the megahit feature Sideways, Patrick landed the high profile role of Attila the Hun in The Night At The Museum film franchise, starring opposite Ben Stiller, Robin Williams and Owen Wilson.

Among Gallagher's additional feature credits are Moving Target, The House Next Door, Walking Tall, Street Kings and most recently, The Fallen Faithful and Dancing Ninja.

Torrance Coombs is a dynamic young actor who has quickly forged a diverse career on screen as well as on stage. He has most recently achieved fame for his sexy turn as the rakish Thomas Culpepper, who was beheaded for his illicit romance with Queen Katherine Howard, in the fourth and final season of Showtime's hit series The Tudors. Coombs has also recently completed the upcoming feature film Killer Mountain.

Coombs' many television credits include a series regular role as John Doe in the cult-hit Douglas Coupland series, jPod, a recurring role as the hotshot horse trainer Chase Powers in CBC's Heartland and guest-starring roles in Supernatural and Battlestar Gallactica.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Coombs first got into acting when he joined the school choir as a means of breaking out of his shell. His first part was the Rum Rum Tugger in a production of Cats, a role which required him to study footage of Elvis in concert to learn how to shake his hips.

His fears conquered, Coombs' love of acting continued throughout high school, eventually landing him in the acting program at the University of British Columbia. After graduating with his BFA, Coombs jumped into the theatre scene, doing two seasons at Vancouver's prestigious Bard On The Beach Shakespeare Festival and various other shows.

Coombs has also received a LEO nomination for his work in The Familiar, a horror-comedy currently making the rounds of festivals in the United States and abroad. He also appears in the upcoming dark war comedy feature Afghan Luke, directed by Trailer Park Boys creator Mike Clattenburg.

A native of Vancouver, Katharine Isabelle began acting at an early age. Her big screen debut came in Joel Schumacher's critical success, Cousins, starring Ted Danson and Isabella Rossellini, as Rossellini's daughter.

Memorable guest appearances in such television series as The X-Files, DaVinci's Inquest, Smallville and Supernatural followed. American audiences began to take notice of Isabelle after her performance in the teen thriller, Disturbing Behavior, and a memorable turn opposite Al Pacino in Christopher Nolan's suspense hit, Insomnia.

However, it was be her starring role as "Ginger" in Ginger Snaps and its widely popular indie hit sequels that have given her cult status among genre fans. Isabelle is also a hot commodity on the independent film scene, with starring roles in such films as Falling Angels, On The Corner and Turning Paige.

In 2008, Katharine was the recipient of the Gemini Award for 'Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Supporting Role in a Dramatic Program or Mini-Series" for her role in the critically acclaimed The Englishman's Boy.

An avid competitive rider since childhood, Katharine still counts her two horses among her closest friends.

Multi-faceted actor, writer and playwright, Carmen Aguirre has an extensive background in the film and television industry. Her recent TV series credits include principal roles in V and the award winning miniseries Tin Man. In addition to her recurring role in the highly acclaimed Da Vinci's Inquest, Aguirre was also part of the writing team during the final season for the award winning series. Previous television credits include guest-starring roles on The L Word and Cold Squad.

Among Aguirre's feature credits are a lead role in Quinceañera, winner of both the 2006 Grand Jury and Audience awards at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival, and a principal role in Christopher Guest's award winning comedy hit Best In Show.

Born in Chile, Aguirre and her family immigrated to Vancouver, Canada as political refugees after the infamous Pinochet coup of 1973. She studied acting at Vancouver's esteemed Studio 58. Returning to South America in 1979, the family was not allowed back into Chile and Aguirre subsequently became active in the Chilean resistance . Her autobiographical memoir Something Fierce: Memoirs of a Revolutionary Daughter will be published in Canada in May 2011 by Douglas & McIntyre and also in the UK by Granta/Portobello.

An accomplished playwright and performer, Aguirre has an extensive background in theatre in Canada, Los Angeles and South America. She has written and co-written 18 plays and has been nominated for the Siminovitch Prize, the biggest award in Canadian theatre. Currently, she is playwright in residence for Victoria, B.C.'s Belfry Theatre, where she is writing her play The Tina Modotti Project.

Aguirre also directed her most recent play, The Refugee Hotel, nominated for a 2010 Dora Mavor Moore Award, published by Talon Books. The world premiere of Aguirre's latest one-woman show Blue Box is slated to open at the Vancouver East Cultural Centre in 2012 and tour to the Magnetic North Festival in Calgary that same year.

A native of Vancouver Canada, Melanie Papalia has had recurring roles in numerous locally shot and highly acclaimed series including Aliens In America and The Assistants. She was a series regular in the popular Painkiller Jane series. Papalia also had a recurring role on Chris Haddock's critically lauded hit series Intelligence, which won several awards including the 2008 Gemini for Best Dramatic Series. Previous series credits include Smallville, Killer Instinct, Godiva's, Supernatural, Blade and Saved.

Most recently Papalia worked alongside Halle Berry in the feature film Frankie and Alice

The 24-year-old Papalia began her performing career as a dancer at only three years of age. By the time she was twelve, she had already accomplished what can take a lifetime of dedication to achieve as a performer. She danced with the prestigious BC Ballet and Salt Lake City Ballet companies and toured globally. To realize her lifelong dream of becoming an actor, Papalia got an agent and did one commercial before the demands of her dancing career once again took precedence

Fate took a hand when a casting director was looking for dancers to appear in a feature film to be shot in Vancouver. From then on, Papalia was well and truly launched into her new career.

Her recent feature film credits also include Confined, American Pie Presents: The Book of Love and Postal. Among her numerous television features are Goodnight For Justice and Freshman Father. Papalia continues to make her home in Vancouver.

Veena Sood is an award-winning actress, known for her versatility in theatre, film, television, radio and improv comedy. Her television credits include recurring roles in numerous series including Life Unexpected, Battlestar Galactica, Caprica, & Little Mosque on the Prairie, as well as several Movies of The Week.

Born in Nairobi, Kenya, Sood came to Canada when she was seven. Raised and educated in Calgary, Alberta, she became a drama student at The University of Calgary at age 17. There she helped co-found Calgary's Loose Moose Theatre Company, best known for their development of the Theatresports, the world renowned improvisational theatre company.

Her feature films include Touch of Pink, Nina's Heavenly Delights, BBC's Compulsion (U.K), and most recently the upcoming The Big Year, and Live With It. Her films have opened at the Sundance Film Festival, the London BFI Festival, and L.A.'s Outfest.

In addition to hosting her own talk show, In the Company of Women, on the CBC, Sood has acted as host and master of ceremonies for gala events, awards shows and television specials.

She's been a featured performer at many theatre festivals including; The Glasgow Comedy Festival, The Vancouver Comedy Festival and The Winnipeg Comedy Festival. Recently Sood toured her one-woman comedy improv show to Glasgow and Edinburgh, where she traveled the moors and heath looking for a good vindaloo.
