Rhinos & Cougars & Canines – Oh My!
 One needs to look no further than Apollo 13 for proof of Bill Paxton’s virility. Upon reaching space, Tom Hanks asks him if he’s hungry, to which he responds “I could eat the ass out of a dead rhinoceros.” We’ll let you draw your own conclusions.
So it’s only fitting that Bill plays Bill Henrickson father of seven and husband of three (including Chloe Sevigny) on the awesome Big Love, new this month to Showcase. Also this month we’ve got superhero movies out the ha-ha hole, a short film about a human raised by dogs and an exclusive interview with Jamie Lidell, in which he discusses approaching his latest project like a wounded cougar.
If you’re noticing an animal theme, it’s coincidental. We think.

Control Contest
Showcase.ca and Dose.ca want to send you to London. The London in England. No offence to the London in Ontario, but England’s just more fun. And it’s the home of Joy Division, and setting for the new movie Control, now out on DVD. So sending people to London, Ontario really wouldn’t make much sense. Maybe next year.
