Beauty and the Beauty on "Trust No One"

If you have seen this episode than you already know that it was crazy, and that things took a turn for every character in one way or another. It was insane right? If you have not yet seen it you can do so here. Now, hang on to your hearts and join Christine and I on the wild ride that was episode "Trust No One". 

Christine:
Hey girl

Sarah:
HEYOOOOO Happy V-Day!
I don’t think the promo would lie to me—I think they are actually going to kiss
I have hopes, dreams & I think this might be the best ep EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Christine:
I am skeptical. The episode is called "Thrust No One" after all
so I doubt there will be anything good

Sarah:
I think he is going to try and romance her & win her back. You know, do a bunch of lame-o V-day things

Christine:
And I think Cat will forgive him. Which I'm totally against

Sarah:
And also, there is no way that Alex would just walk away and be all "oh, you're an animal killing machine nbd" and then nothing

Christine:
Very true
I think Alex is too much of a do-gooder to forgive beast for killing people

Sarah:
And that was a disgusting kill as far as murders go

Christine:
I'd probably be a little spooked myself
It actually makes you wonder - why is Cat so o.k. with these brutal beast killings?

Sarah:
Cat knows this and STILL wants to sleep with him
Because he only ever protects her - he doesn't beast on her.


The episode begins with Alex getting a talking to from Cat about covering her tracks and letting her know she is probably being hunted by Muirfield.

Sarah:
Oh Alex relax

Christine:
"Earl's diner"

Sarah:
Are they going to be friends?
If Alex's life is basically over, then why not just be with Vincent

Christine:
This is going to be too much for Alex

Sarah:
One day, I want to give someone a burner phone

Sarah:
"Use it for 3 days then throw it OUT"
I don’t know...I am just not that into Alex

Christine:
Agreed. She needs to get Murfielded

The next morning at Cat's apartment, Cat's note reading time is interrupted by Heather who goes on about "taking back Valentine's Day" and something about getting a job.

Sarah:
"servicing the city" of course you are, Heather

Sarah:
Cat's outfit is SO AWESOME

Christine:
Yeah i love it!

Sarah:
He wants to roofie her
Vincent get a haircut bud

Christine:
Yeah there's no need for the parted mushroom cut

Sarah:
Did his scar get bigger?

Christine:
Nah he's just in daylight

Sarah:
Its curling around his eyebrow
Awe Cat come on...give the guy a break

Christine:
Absolutely not. He deserves no breaks

Sarah:
I really want to give him a break because he is so cute

Christine:
He's a man baby - wants everything

Sarah:
You mean manbabe

Christine:
Ok that too. We haven't seen his abs in far too long

Alex takes matters into her own hands by calling up an old journalist/activist friend of hers to have him "break open" the Muirfield story.

Sarah:
Who is this scruffy bright eyed man

Christine:
HEY I KNOW THAT GUY!
he's friends with my friends

Sarah:
OMG You go to parties with him!!!
He is her "activist" friend
is she kidding?
is she kidding me right now?!

Christine:
Just ignore EVERYTHING Cat said

After Alex tells her friend ALL of Vincent's secrets, we are back at the warehouse where JT is talks about how Cat's non-committal feelings about Vincent are actually justified.

Sarah:
YES JT you tell him

Christine:
JT 4 lyfe!
"knowing you'll always be there to rip someone limb from limb in a pinch"

Sarah:
See?! He is going to WOOOOOOO her
this is the best

Christine:
When did JT get so likeable?

Sarah:
When we got to know him a little better

Over on another side of NYC, Tess is in a....situation herself.

Sarah:
GASP

Christine:
YES

Sarah:
This is not good - are they at a swank hotel?

Christine:
This is amazing

Sarah:
He is married!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She is the other woman—this is not okay and also, he is her boss

Christine:
She can handle it—she's a strong woman

Sarah:
This is a lose lose for her

Turns out Joe the dawg has a brother, Darius, who has happened upon Heather on her first day of work at the precinct and asks her out.

Christine:
Ohh Darius!

Sarah:
Well, he is a hottie isn’t he

When Cat receieves flowers at work, Tess is inquisitive about whether or not they are from the "Ass" that Cat has promised to try and stay away from. 

Sarah:
Tess is in no place to ask questions about secret relationships

Christine:
Totally

Sarah:
Cat! So cold!! Tossing the flowers out
OMG did you see that

Christine:
CREEEp

Sarah:
THAT WAS THE BEST

Christine:
Jilted lover

Cat and Tess are at the scene of a suicide case turned murder mystery. Its the journalist that Alex went to. 

Sarah:
Okayyy so this guy was murdered?
I got distracted by the Beast in the window

Christine:
Yeah Alex's journalist friend

Evan has a walk through the park discussing Valentine's dinner with a reluctant Claire.
 

Sarah:
Awwweeee poor Evan,
He thinks this thing with Claire is for real
She is such a lying whore!

Christine:
"I work with dead people, I don't get many business trips"
Evan knows something's up

Cat visits Vincent and lets him know about Alex's betrayal, and that Vincent is in danger. She demands that he him to stay at the warehouse to earn her trust back.


When Alex stops in the street to read news of her journalist friend's death Claire confronts her and convinces her that they are there to help save Vincent and needs her help.

Sarah:
Way to go Alex
What did you think was going to happen

Christine:
Seriously

Sarah:
Is Claire playing both sides? Like a survivor?!

Christine:
is she?
or is she just playing Alex?

Christine:
I think she's playing Murfield's side

Sarah:
Yeah tough call. Not sure what to think here

Christine:
Alex is gullible

Sarah:
Is she EVER
so frustrating

Christine:
"we want to help him"
"we just killed this guy who knew about it, but we just want to help him"
c'mon!

Somewhere else in town, while cruising along minding her own biz, Cat gets...

Sarah:
Flashmobbbbb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christine:
OMG
can't deal
this is my nightmare

Sarah:
He should have chosen that song where he sings “I would catch a grenade for you" since he would and could. Note the really great extra work happening here. Particularly this guy, If you watch the ep again, watch for that guy. He nails it.

Christine:
I would end things with him then and there

Sarah:
oh geez and he is watching from a computer!

After romancing and stalking her with a flashmob, Vincent receives a panicky phone call than none other than Alex. In the meantime, Tess and Cat drown their man woes at a cop bar.

Christine:
I'm about fugue

Sarah:
Tess is so jaded

Christine:
That's what happens when you date a married man

Sarah:
Woah so Cat knows about Tess and Joe? Look how forthcoming Tess is with info and still Cat tells her nothing

Christine:
Good for Tess—no secrets
Do you think it will work out for Tess?

Sarah:
Probably and not for Joe, who will maybe get killed off?
Awwweee poor Evan I can’t even handle this

Christine:
Awww he's so sweet!
Easy on the sweet and hard on the heart

Christine:
OMG ALEX WTF

Sarah:
she is the WORST

Cat's conversation with Evan at the bar is interruped by a phone call from JT. He lets her know that he believes Vincent has fallen into an Alex trap.

Sarah:
"the big guy" is going to the Beaumont hotel to get KILLED!

Christine:
bahhh!

Sarah:
Alex!!! What a BITCH

Alex has injected Vincent with something to paralyze him while she waits for Claire to arrive, believing that Muirfield actually wants to save him. Cat  runs to the resuce when...

Christine:
Alex is the WORST
How could she even thinks she knows best?

Sarah:
I am so pissed right now
Why does she think that she knows everything

Christine:
She thinks it's because Cat's jelly!
Alex is so awful!

Sarah:
This is intense

Sarah:
What is her DAMAGE. Does she think that this is going to help her get her man back? He’s not going to want to date her after this.

Christine:
She's gone cray cray

Sarah:
so naive
YES ALEX she will accept him the way he is—a big stalking animal

Alex finally listens to what they are telling her and gives them a chance to escape, sacrificing herself to Claire. 

Christine:
CLAIRE
shoot out?

Sarah:
snap
Alex is going to die do you think?

Christine:
totally
hopefully?

Sarah:
eeeekkk
well, she made this bed

Christine:
YES
BEAST RAGE

Christine:
SLOW MO

Sarah:
Claire is dumbfounded
that was amazing

Vincent's rage ends up saving the day and no one ends up dead. Back at the warehouse, Cat has made arrangements for Alex to disappear and Vincent says goodbye to her. Again.

Sarah:
ulgh ALEX GO AWAY ALREADY

Christine:
right?
disgusting

Sarah:
I can’t handle this
Does she now feel like she can get back with him?
NO NO NO NO

Christine:
I can't handle this!

Sarah:
I love that Cat is spying on this conversation
This show should be called “Spy and the Spied On”

Sarah:
hahah true
Cat is shipping her out! Seeya later Alex!

Christine:
Peace byotch. Cat is loving that Alex is leaving

Sarah:
Dye your hair brown and get the eff outta here

Christine:
I can't wait for alex to leave the room

Sarah:
me EITHER
the suspense is KILLING me

At the precinct, Cat tampers with police evidence in order to tie up some loose Alex ends. Tess catches her.

Sarah:
She is tampering with evidence. Bad cop.

Christine:
Yeah Tess! Good cop!

Sarah:
This episode is insane. Finally Tess standing up to her

Christine:
She's been taking advantage of Tess' trust for too long

Sarah:
oh no oh NOOOOO. No this is the worst

Christine:
She should just have looped Tess in

Sarah:
Its just one thing after another here for ‘ol Catster

Tess will be putting in a request for a new partner. Back at the morgue, Evan catches Claire going through his stuff & snapping photos. 

Christine:
Evan!

Sarah:
wowowowowow

Sarah:
Claire is looping Evan in
Whose side is he going to take?!

Christine:
I think Evan is too smart to side with the evil guys
He'll be one step ahead of her

Sarah:
Shit just got real for EVERyone
Who is Cat's new partner going to be?!
I cant get over it. I am shocked

Christine:
I wonder what will happen with that
If Tess will ever know

At Cat's apartment, Vincent pays a visit so they can further discuss their relationship as well as recent events.

Christine:
omg will this be a kiss???
MAYBE

Sarah:
EIEEEEEEEEEEEEE
DO THE RIGHT THING VINCENT

DO IT

Christine:

Sarah:
I cant handle this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christine:

Sarah:
