Lost Girl 305: Exploding Humans and a Sex Club

This week's episode (watch it HERE, and check out photos from it HERE) opens with two very things - on one hand, Bo and Lauren are looking for extra partners to satisfy Bo's urges. On the other hand, humans are turning in blobs of goo and blowing up.

Oh, and remember how Kenzi disappeared at the end of last week's episode? Well, she's back, but is acting a little bit differently...much more proactively looking for cases than usual. She finds out about the people turning into goo, and she and Lauren (you don't see that combo too often - and it doesn't last long as Bo soon shows up) go off to investigate the case of a person (who is now a glob of goo on the ground) named Graham.

Turns out Graham was having an affair, and was frequenting what is more or less a swingers run by a Bacchus. Kenzi and Bo go to investigate, while Lauren gets down to the science and finds out that Graham was likely the victim of some sort of fae secretion.

Meanwhile, Dyson and Tamsin are in the middle of an investigation of their own, as they find a dead fae woman - who, I should probably mention, Bo slept with earlier in the episode . Complicating things quite a bit, Dyson detects Bo's scent on her.

Back at the club, Bo gets with the light fae owner Roman, but is unable to get any information from him, even with her Succubus powers. She brings what she knows to Dyson, only to be confronted with pictures of the dead fae that Tamsin found. She's later questioned about it, but denies having anything to do with the death (although she admits it doesn't look good for her).

Next , we head to the Dal, where Kenzi is clearly trying to drive a wedge between Bo and Lauren by implying that Bo still has feelings for Dyson. That awkwardness is ended when Trick shows up - as luck would have it he has one of the special keys that are needed to have full access to the club at the centre of this week's investigation. Kenzi then asks Trick why he ignored Bo for so many years, seemingly just to cause trouble - something's definitely up with her.

Everything culminates with one final visit to the club, and pretty much everyone's invited: Kenzi, Bo, Lauren, Dyson, and even Tamsin, who basically insists on being wherever Bo is at this point. Lauren, Kenzi, and Bo head into the most exclusive room of the club, where they find the under-fae behind the goo explosions, a manta, which is basically a giant octopus-like creature. The trio tries to prevent anyone else from getting hurt, but are soon cornered by Roman's goons. There's a final battle, and Bo goes all-dark mode to beat everyone...and has trouble getting back to normal. Meanwhile, Dyson and Tamsin take care of Roman.

In the final scene, there's one more surprise, as it turns out that Kenzi might not be quite what she seems...
