Jonesin' for more Pwnage? Well, that's what our video centre is for. Those full streaming episodes aren't gonna watch themselves.
Those interested in diversifying, however, should know that Davin Lengyel, a co-producer of Pure Pwnage, has just debuted an exciting new web series called Brotherhood of Leet: 8 Bit Wars. Needless to say, we love it. And while the title alone will give hardcore gamers minor excitement tremors and heart palpitations, here's the official synopsis to benefit the less indoorsy among you:
In the mid 1980s, intense competition between the Nintendo and Sega gaming consoles revitalized the gaming industry. These gaming systems played a prominent role in the lives of many North American adolescents, establishing characters like Mario as cultural icons and selling over 75 million systems. This period of rivalry, universally celebrated by the gaming community, is referred to as the 8-Bit Wars.
The series tells the fictional history of a Gamer Army platoon called the Pixel Dogs as they fight in the 8 Bit Wars. We follow this rag-tag group of noob gamer soldiers through their harrowing battles that, in the end, turn them into a hardened brotherhood of leet gamers.
The battle, as it were, has just begun. Check out episode one below, and stay tuned for more BoL at 8bitwars.com.
