The episode starts exactly where it ended, only this time Nancy gets chloroformed by Guillermo – which can’t be a good omen. Silas, meanwhile, makes the grown-up decision that he’s not going with the rest of the Botwin/Newman clan, as he wants to get to know his sperm daddy better. In a round of goodbyes, Silas tries to get through to Shane to let him know that he knows he’s not dead inside – and wait did anyone else see that? Was there a glimmer of humanity in Shane during the exchange? The moment is lost as Silas ends his heart-to-heart with the sage advice, “Don’t be a dick.”
Andy says good bye to his nephew – er, half-nephew – with a heartfelt smooch. Don’t worry -- there was a comment about not getting to first base with Andy after Andy reveals he doesn’t want to repeat history again by not having fought for someone when they told him to leave.
I guess we can all cross off what happened to “Ellis Tate” off our list of burning questions as Nancy wakes up in the back of a trunk with “Ellis’s” body. After she freaks out, Esteban lets her ride in the back of the sedan, but not before he gives her a love tap and makes her nose bleed. Back at the airport the self proclaimed king of off-grid living lets racial profiling work in his favour, opting to let a Middle Eastern man in front of them as to not raise suspicion about their so called Icelandic roots, aka their new passports and apparently new Björk-inspired Icelandic accents.
Nancy gets a hold of a cell phone and quickly calls Andy to let him know that Plan C is now in play. After pulling a fast one on Esteban and Guillermo at the gate, Nancy manages to get through security before they can get tickets. As Shane, Andy and Schiff board the plane Nancy and Stevie stay behind to go get Silas out of danger. Right on cue, Esteban and Guillermo round the corner with Silas and a trade is made Silas for Stevie. Federal Marshals board the plane to arrest Schiff who is suspected of robbing a post office.
Nancy chats up Esteban and Guillermo to negotiate for her life but they tell her nothing can save her, to which she smirks and informs them that Plan C will save her. Plan C finally comes to light as Nancy walks out the front door of the airport with Esteban and Guillermo by her side only to be met by the police and FBI escort as she confesses that she killed Pilar Zuzua. Again, what a perfect song choice with Gin Wigmore’s "Hey Ho" playing in the back ground as Nancy i’s arrested and the plane takes off to Paris with the men in Nancy’s life looking extremely somber.
Can you imagine how Nancy will get out of this next season?
