Nancy continues to wheel and deal with their new beverage so they can scrounge up enough money to get plane tickets, passports and make it to the stylish city of Copenhagen. Meanwhile Silas and Lars bond over spark plugs and high school antics. Do you think Lars could possibly be Silas' dad? If the blond hair fits, right? If this is true, that would put Nancy's baby daddy count up to three; three boys from three different dads.

Meanwhile, Nancy asks Mr. Schiff about Ellis Tate, the guy with glasses she met in the cemetery. Schiff reveals Ellis was an overweight math geek, and a girl. This prompts Nancy to put her Nancy Drew skills to the test! She heads straight to the library to research in old high school yearbooks and it turns out crazy Mr. Schiff was right about Ellis Tate. Nancy then decides to arrange a meeting with her so-called estranged classmate to get to the bottom of things, but her plan backfires when she's caught digging through his stuff. Surprisingly, he's not a cop but a journalist doing a story on Nancy. Nancy decides that she wants her side of the story told and strikes a deal with him.

While Nancy is busy with her tell-all, Andy is on "mission: passport" and is asked to commit murder in exchange for the precious documents. The wanted head is that of Hooman Jaka, the soon-to-be son-in-law of the man with the passport power. I know you're probably thinking the same thing, more killing? But in Andy's words: "we need Shane, we have to kill someone." So uncle Andy gets creative and hatches a plan with Jaka to fake his death.
