Drop Dead Diva - S2E04 - "Home and Away" Blog

"Boy gets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back only to lose her again? What?!" was my first reaction to Tony and Jane's sudden, almost out-of-the blue, goodbye. For those who missed the episode, Tony left for a new job opportunity as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Washington.

Just when I started falling in love with the idea of Jane being with Tony they kill that storyline as quickly as the love affair itself lasted. To say I'm okay with it would be wrong, when in fact I'm a bit annoyed. I thought we'd at least see a Tony-Jane-Grayson love affair last halfway into the season.

In all fairness to this show, why move Tony? Was Tony garnering bad approval ratings? I can’t continue another season watching Jane dwell on the life she led as Deb with Grayson, unless of course Grayson professes his love for Jane which would have me glued to the TV. Am I'm overreacting? Okay, I admit this could very well be a bit of a Tony-related crush in me talking.

On to a lesser affair, Kim and Jay may soon become my new favourite duo now that they've officially exchanged a passionate makeout. Perhaps they'll make little successful lawyer babies in season three! Who knows, but I am slightly pleased about this new union. In reality, however, I think an office romance  spells disaster!

If you break up with someone you've been dating from work, and must now continue to work with, how do you face each other day in and day out at the office?

You really shouldn't shit where you eat, right? I'm not experienced in this field, so I want to know would you engage in an office romance? Have you had an office love affair end badly? Do tell!

Watch this week's episode, if you haven't already, and chime in with your comments. I would appreciate the input!

Until next time, ta ta divas!
