This week’s episode of Secret Diary of a Call Girl should have been subtitled "Friends with (Complicated) Benefits". As you may recall from last week, Belle and Ben finally slept together, but Belle is still in love with Dr. Alex. Dr. Alex hates her because he finally found out she has sex with men for money (girl’s gotta eat, doc). And now dear Belle is attempting to “go straight” by taking up a day job at an office and giving the ol’ sex trade the heave “ho”... so to speak.

Ben’s a bartender! Who knew? Was I supposed to know? At this point—whatever.

The Breakup No One Cares About
Ben calls things off with his girlfriend Vanessa, a character we never saw or learned anything about. She’s the polkaroo of this series, and it’s about time they got rid of her.

Why Belle’s the Cleverest Girl We Know
She pulls the plug out of the phone so that Alex misses her service call. A busted car and no help means he has to spend the night. Not for nothing she’s a high paid call girl, eh?
