Rescue Me Season 5, Episodes 18-20: RECAP

This Sunday, tune into Showcase for the two-hour season finale of Rescue Me, starting at 10pm ET/PT.

We've been writing about this show all season, and correct me if I'm wrong, but it sure looks like the only loose end that has yet to be tied relates to which beautiful woman Tommy will decide to sleep with for the foreseeable future. Will it be Andrea Roth (Janet), Callie Thorne (Sheila), or Maura Tierney (too new, name not important)? Our vote's for Andrea, because she's from Woodstock, Ontario and whatever, why not. What do you think?

Sheila all the way. They have great chemistry as actors - she's mental and he's drawn to mental so what can make for better television than that?

But you gotta love Maura - she's the wild card in all of this.

Can't wait for Sunday.

Great writing. Great acting.

Rescue Me is storytelling at its best.

I am a big fan of Rescue me. I watched the final season show. I have to admit that I did not think it made any sense. The scene with Tommy getting shot was sensless. Karma can be also a good thing too as many northern Americans misunderstand the meaning. I don't think Tommy is as selfish as the show conveys. He helps out a lot of people.  For him to be show is like his judgement day. I mean he is not Jesus. He is no different from the rest of the crew who are screwed up too but function normaly.
