You just check yoself before you wreck yoself.
Great love scene with Helena and Dylan, they're smoking hot together. Can Dylan be trusted or is Helena making a mistake getting involved with her again?
Jenny's sold her screenplay for a cool $500,000. It's about a cop who's involved with a talk show host, a cross between Foul Play and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. It has blockbuster potential and it was Alice's idea, which angers Alice and she vows to kill Jenny.
Bette and Tina warn Alice about a third-wheel crush and all the complications. Will Alice or Tasha 'tip' and fall in love with Jamie?
Helena tells the gang that she's having dinner with Dylan, which motivates Alice to come up with a mission to ascertain the disposition and intent of one Miss Dylan Moreland. Everyone participates, with the set-up taking place at Hit. Nikki lays it on thick with Dylan, but Dylan passes the test with flying colors by rejecting the advances of Niki Stevens. Everyone watches the security monitors, but Helena is still skeptical. After, she invites Dylan to go somewhere more private to talk. Not much talk, mostly action culminating in the hottest love scene this season.
Meanwhile, Shane comes home and Jenny tells her about the plan for Niki and Dylan. Shane tells Jenny that she's involved, she's already spoken to Niki and she's going out with her tonight. Jenny forbids Shane to see Niki because Niki betrayed them and that out of loyalty to Jenny, Shane should hate her too. Shane insists that there's nothing going on between herself and Niki, and they argue.
Bette and Tina have dinner with Kelly and Caleb. While Bette leaves to talk a little business, Kelly tells Caleb, in front of Tina, that Bette is 'the one who got away'. Kelly then asks Tina if she minds if she flirts shamelessly with Bette. Tina tells her to have at it - Bette knows that if she were ever to cheat on her, that would be the end.
Tina's boss and William walk into the restaurant with writers whom Tina has been working with for three years. She wasn't invited and lets Bette know that that means she's been fired. Aaron tells his dinner guests that he is so happy to be done with dykes, and Tina goes off on him and William.
At Hit, Jenny is driving Shane crazy by checking Shane's text messages for anything from Niki. Shane goes out for a cigarette and Niki approaches her. Shane excuses herself and it's revealed that Niki misunderstood Shane's intent earlier in the day. Shane apologizes and tells Niki that she and Jenny are together and Jenny wouldn't be comfortable seeing them talking. Shane tells Niki that if Jenny weren't in the picture, maybe things would be different...
Inside, Jenny is ambushed by the Three Musketeers, Tasha, Alice and Jamie. They're on her about stealing Alice's idea for the screenplay when Shane comes back during the argument. Jenny tells her to pick a side but Shane refuses. Jenny is very upset with her, they argue. Shane apologizes and tells Jenny that if she had to choose today between their relationship and their friendship, she would choose the friendship. Jenny makes it clear that the only thing that would get in the way of their friendship is if something gets in the way of their romantic relationship.
So Jenny's given Shane an ultimatum: No relationship, no friendship. So what can Shane do? She's told Bette she loves Molly, but at the same time, there's an attraction between her and Niki...
