For most of us it’s a slushy, wet Wednesday here in hump land, but given tomorrow is Valentine’s Day I thought I’d warm you up with some homemade erotica!

This past Saturday was the 2nd annual Come As You Are Toronto Erotic Arts Festival, a platform for mostly Toronto-based artists to showcase their quirky, adult-themed crafts.

We covered the event as the Sideshow reported last week; and I was joined by Hump Day’s exclusive photographer Alligator Boy who slithered his way around the exhibitors’ tables to snap these photos:

Here are some other highlights from the show:
* Chocolate handcuffs – It’s melt in your mouth!
* Eco-underwear – Recycled T-shirts crafted into underwear.
* Porno hankies – Blowing your nose was never this fun!
* Hand-blown glass wine decanter – The kicker? It’s penis shaped.
* Exotic knitwear – Latex undies that fit just right.
* Erotic furniture – Open the cabinets to expose what’s underneath!

I’ll also be covering some of the vendors individually in the coming weeks to really get an idea of the Canadian landscape of erotic crafts and arts.

If you're thinking about starting a kinky crafts project of your own, I'd recommend starting small and working up to the mainstream market. How about attempting some of these tampon crafts as an intial idea (I've been saving that link for a special moment like this). You still have time to make it for that special someone on Valentine's!
