It's no secret that Weeds has quickly become one of the biggest hit series on Showcase, so the arrival of Season 3 onto our fair network is an event that has sparked much activity.

Firstly, many of you may have noticed that we launched a new Season 3 site for Weeds. It's pretty sweet with a deep stash of primo grade information on all three seasons of the series. What's more, those of you who may have missed out on the final storyline of Season 2 can watch the last three episodes right here at showcase.ca - so go ahead and do a little speed weeding!

The new season sees Nancy deal with rival criminal elements who have taken interest in her burgeoning pot cultivation and distribution ring. Meanwhile things are really raveling out of control for her family and friends (bless you Kevin Nealon) and at 15 episodes, this is the longest season of Weeds yet! Some interesting new faces are added to the mix as well, with Matthew Modine playing crooked developer Sullivan and bony l'il thing Mary Kate Olson making an extended appearance as Tara, a Jesus-loving pot head,

The new season of Weeds premieres on TV this Wednesday, October 10th at 10PM et/pt. The same episodes will be streaming live at showcase.ca, starting the morning after each broadcast. So, even if, you like, um, forget to program your PVR or whatever, you can, um, totally stream Weeds at your convenience. Yeah maaannn!
