Can you do it for 69 hours? That’s the challenge posed to Torontonians wanting to participate in the 69 Hour Film Challenge going down tomorrow night as a lead-up even to the 8th annual Darryl's Hard Liquor and Porn Film Festival.
Voted the "Best Film Festival that is not a film festival" by NOW magazine in 2006, it’s the second year the festival is giving its audience the chance to make a short comedic sex film within a 69-hour timeframe. It’s not actually shooting a porno per se; participants in the films can make fun of sex in any way they see fit.
Here’s how to participate: Filmmakers are to meet on Wednesday October 4th at The Blue Moon Pub (725 Queen St. E) at 6:00 PM where they will be given a secret package of instructions. The teams will then have 69 hours to complete a short comedy porn film. The films will then be screened at The Blue Moon on Sunday October 7th at 9:00 PM (open to the public, pay what you can).
The festival itself showcases a series of international short funny films about sex and takes place on October 13th at The Bloor Cinema. For more details on the film challenge or festival tickets, click here.
