Superbad is one of the most hyped comedies of the year and with good reason; given the
all star line-up cast and crew, it would take a Hollywood studio to bleed the ha-ha out of it! And the Internet-related marketing campaign has done little to dispel the impending giggles.

But beyond
that naughty trailer that came out way back in June, there have been other VERY clever "leaked" videos floating the Inter-nets. One of them seems to be a complete segment from the movie, a focus on one characters'
youthful penile artistry. Funny stuff.
But nothing compared to the latest,
which features one of my favourite director/writers, Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz, Shaun Of The Dead, Spaced) interviewing Superbad stars Jonah Hill and Michael Cera. Wright's evilly minded interview makes a mockery of the mindless questions hurled at talent during the soulless press junket interviews so common in show biz. Harry Knowles from Aint It Cool News
plays it like it's real, but the red herring that tells me that it's not is that Wright is conducting the interview - he's a director, not a TV interviewer after all! And as we saw from
Cera's viral stunt for Knocked Up, mock angry outrage = big yuks!
Regardless, it's a great piece of Thursday viral fun to soak up 4 minutes of your otherwise productive day.
