We here at Showcase are busily readying our fall schedule, one of the crowning jewels of which is the Canadian premiere of Saving Grace, starring Academy Award winner, Holly Hunter. The show recently premiered in the U.S. and the media is excited.

In some cases, far too excited. In fact, Merry Miller, a young entertainment reporter on ABC, was so excited by the show that she forgot just about anything she neglected to learn back in broadcasting school. This clip shows Merry losing her cool entirely when her teleprompter goes down, thereby revealing that she really has no idea what the show is about.

Go on, have a cringe if you are ready to watch a career actually crumble into pitiful ruin within the span of a 4 minute puff piece interview.

Holly Hunter, who plays the series' titular bad-ass cop in need of a spiritual overhaul, handles the whole thing with poise and, pardon the pun, Grace.

Saving Grace premieres on Showcase at 10 pm ET/PT on Monday, August 27th.
