The results from last week's world-record attempt at the gang-bang title are in, and it was far from the 1001-person sex scrum we had hoped it would be.

On Thursday May 17 in Columbus, Ohio, porn star Erin Daye (joined by her tag team friends Lisa Sparxxx and Autumn Hotlips as secondary sideshow acts) set out to beat the current record by screwing 1001 guys--technically it's the opposite way around, but you get the idea. Last night, Daye's blog posted the highly disappointing sex stats of only 464 bangs (that number includes women with strap-ons), a far cry from the record. As the dejected Reggie the Vampire puts it, "It was a gang-bust."

The thing I noticed from Daye's post-bang blog is that Sparxxx (who coincidentally holds the current title of 919 guys) stopped participating after only the second round! An omen perhaps? Or was this gang-bang queen suddenly too cool for drool? Whatever the issue, I'm sure Sparxxx's pulling out of the event left a bad taste in Daye's mouth. And all ramblings aside, as far as I'm concerned, she blew it.

The Sideshow diligently looked for results, sending cosmic well-wishes her way (even holding candlelight vigils at times). Now awestruck with grief, we await the next event and hope a new challenger can go all the way.
