Holy War Dance Party

Monday, March 26, 2007 10:12 AM

To avoid comment on last nights climactic finale of the 3rd season of Battlestar Galactica, I instead offer for your consideration this message of  hope from two subversive media freedom fighters based right here in Toronto.

Holy War Dance Party is a pre-fabricated dance sensation geared towards channeling aggressive, Clash of Civilization-style anxieties away from the field of battle and onto the floor of dance. A pre-launch party held around the concept occured a couple of weeks ago and we were very much amused. Now the instructional video and web-based compendium have been released and ready for deployment.

Can a variety of silly guys performing moves with Fatwa-friendly names like "Drill For Oil" or "Trade The Arms" in front of green-screened shots of world land marks spark the dance revolution?

Please have a gander and let us know what you think.
