L-Word Season 4 Sneak Peek

Here at Showcase, we receive many questions regarding the The L-Word, the majority from loyal viewers seeking updates on the forthcoming Season. The short answer is, it will be coming to Showcase this fall! In the meantime, here are some mini-spoilers to tide you all over.

Tempers will flare and tensions will build as Tina pressures Bette over custody of Angelica. Carmen will become distraught over the disastrous wedding and Shane will go on a self-destructive rampage. Helena will be cut off from the good life and be forced to adjust to life on a budget. Kit will be forced to deal with her pregnancy and Jenny will finally land the book deal that will make or break her as a writer.

Season 3 of The L-Word airs Thursdays at 10pm ET/PT on Showcase.

I would like to know why is it that The L Word airs in the US in January, yet, us Canadians have to wait until the fall??? Why is that? I mean, it's out on video to buy in Canada before Showcase has even aired the entire season.

I am but a humble Goat-Human hybrid, but I can tell you this...Showtime, the network that creates the L Word in the US, is, like HBO, a Pay Per View network. Their main move seems to be making a show and airing it exclusively on Pay Per View and then rushing the season out to DVD (TV on DVD is a huge business these days). Cable broadcaster in exotic foreign lands like Canada get to air the stuff after its original creators have had their way with it. Sorry for the delay..
