Q: How do I know if I am subscribed to SHOWCASE ON DEMAND?

A: SHOWCASE ON DEMAND is included as part of your subscription to SHOWCASE. Each Television Service Provider chooses what services to offer their subscribers. Questions regarding ON DEMAND availability are best served by contacting your Television Service Provider directly.

Q: What can I watch on SHOWCASE ON DEMAND?

A: At this time, customers with Rogers, Shaw and Shaw Direct have access to Complete Seasons of several top dramas, Next Day Catch-up on episodes of acclaimed series, and now, for the first time – Blockbuster Movies.  All SHOWCASE subscribers have access to at least one Complete Season and Next day Catch-up of select SHOWCASE series. For more information about what is included in your specific ON DEMAND offers, please contact your Television Service Provider directly.

Q: Is there an additional charge for using SHOWCASE ON DEMAND?

A: No, SHOWCASE ON DEMAND is included as part of your subscription to SHOWCASE.

Q: What can I do if my cable provider doesn’t offer SHOWCASE ON DEMAND?

A: If you are a SHOWCASE subscriber, you automatically have access to SHOWCASE ON DEMAND.

Opportunities to watch your favourite programming will vary depending on your service provider. Since choosing what services to offer is a decision made by each service provider, we suggest contacting your Television Service Provider directly with any questions.

Q: I have SHOWCASE ON DEMAND but why can’t I find a certain program on it?

A: Not all Television Service Provider will offer the same ON DEMAND content. Please refer above to “What can I watch on SHOWCASE ON DEMAND?” for details about available content.

QUESTIONS ABOUT PAST, CURRENT & UPCOMING SHOWS

Q:  How can I get information about a program I saw on Showcase if I don’t know the title?

A:  Showcase broadcasts many programs. In order for us to help you, please be specific in your request by providing us with the title and/or exact date and time of the broadcast. We cannot identify programs by description of footage, narrator, host, or interviewee.

Q:  How do I acquire more information on a particular program?

A: Showcase Television can provide viewers with repeat dates and times of a specific show when possible. We cannot provide more information on the subject than is included in the program’s content, nor can we provide contact information for stars or hosts of our programs and films.

Q: How can I find out if certain program will be repeated?

A: Traditionally most of our programs are re-aired at some point. To determine if the program you are interested in is currently scheduled to be rebroadcast, please check our daily listings at www.showcase.ca/schedule.

Q: How can I find out about the music heard in your programs?

A: Most of our on-air promotional and original series music is written specifically for our programs. While musical pieces may be available commercially, they are not available for sale through Showcase.

A: The feedback and opinions of our viewers are very important to us. Any comments sent to our viewer relations department at feedback@showcase.ca will be reviewed and forwarded to appropriate departments within our company.

A: We are always looking for movie and program suggestions. Please be assured that any suggestions sent through our viewer relations department will be forwarded to our programming department for review and consideration when they formulate future schedules. Q: Are Showcase’s programs available to purchase on DVD or VHS?

Q: How do I turn off my Ad Blocker?

Google Chrome
Click the Chrome Menu icon from the browser toolbar.
Highlight the Tools menu, then click Extensions from the sub-menu.
Unclick the checkbox icon that appears next to the Adblock entry.
Close the tab and refresh the page.

Safari
Click on Safari located in the menu bar of your browser and select Preferences. The Preferences window will be displayed.
Click on the Extensions button. A list of all extensions you have installed to Safari will appear.
Navigate to and click on AdBlock in the list of extensions in the left pane.
Unclick the checkbox icon that appears to the left of the Adblock entry.
Close the menu and refresh the page.

Firefox
Click on Tools and then select Add-ons.
Click Extensions from the left-hand pane.
Find Adblock on the list of extensions.
Select Disable to temporarily disable AdBlock.
Close the tab and refresh the page.

Internet Explorer
Click the gear icon to open Settings.
Select the Manage Add-ons option on the drop-down list.
Click the Toolbars and Extensions link in the left navigation pane.
Right-click the AdBlock add-on name in the list, then click the Disable button.
Click the Disable button in the confirmation window to disable the Adblock add-on.
